So the other day I was surfing the web looking for a good recording of “Rhapsody in Blue” by George Gershwin. Somehow, I came across this group, The Postmodern Jukebox Band. They have proved that any song can sound amazing when you put a jazzy twist on it. Here’s to real music! Enjoy!
I also recommend listening to their 1940s Swing cover of Justin Bieber’s “Beauty and a Beat.” I’m not really into popular music but you can’t deny how much better these versions of the songs are!
Fantastic!
Isn’t this the absolute best?! š
I think I like the second one, Beauty and a Beat, the best.
Same here! I was really debating which one to put up as the title for the post but I figured that Thrift Shop is a newer song so I was hoping that would catch people’s attention. But of course I couldn’t help myself and had to sneak the Justin Bieber one in there š
