One of the things that keep us from reaching for our wildest dreams is the fear that they are not economically safe. But what if money didn’t matter? Check out this video I came across a few weeks ago. Thanks again to The Buried Life for posting it!

I love this clip. I saw it somewhere else recently and it triggered me to start making changes in my life. Thanks for the reminder.
I always tell people that we as a society raise children to be battery hens. They are forced into school at age 5 where they spend 13 years learning to conform before having to either go to.university or work to do what they are expected to. Where’s the life in that.
If you haven’t already done so, read The Pin Striped Prison It’s by an Australian author and is brilliant about this issue
I completely agree with you on the schooling system (even though I am in it now and you are about to go back to school haha!). I will definitely check out that book! Thank you so much for commenting and have a great day!
Haha. Yeah it is ironic isn’t it. But there is a big difference between going to school because you have to or studying what you are expected to study and going to school out of choice 🙂
For example, someone who gets high grades at high school who wants to be a teacher might feel pressured to study law so they never become a teacher. They are then faced with a choice later in life whether to take a pay cut to go back to school to follow their dreams or whether to continue working in a field that isn’t their passion.
You will love The Pin Striped Prison
There definitely is a difference between going to school because we feel we “have” to and because we “want” to. I’m definitely here because I want to. I had taken some time off of school and really missed it and now I am working toward a goal of mine that I want to achieve. It is such a good feeling 🙂
The funny thing is, I wouldn’t live extravagantly or anything. I’d be on a farm, keeping a nice garden, having friends and family around me playing games, telling stories, going for long walks, writing, reading, learning …
That is an absolutely beautiful dream. I would love to see you make that come true 🙂

Amazing video
Thanks so much for checking it out! Also, is your username inspired by Gonzo journalism?
Nope just a name I gave myself lol. What is Gonzo journalism?
Here’s a wikipedia page on it!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gonzo_journalism
The journalist, Hunter S. Thompson is credited with it. He wrote the book “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas” which also became a movie with Johnny Depp. Here’s a link to the trailer! Enjoy 🙂
Wow Hunter S Thompson seems like an interesting character. Johnny is great in everything, I gotta check this movie out now thankss again.
Definitely! I still haven’t even seen the movie but no doubt it’ll be good! Let me know what you think!
Such a great video find! The guys voice is amazing
Isn’t it wonderful? So glad you enjoyed it!
Lovely many times in my life i heard that I am stupid but still I am doing what I love to do & now I can say I am proud to be a stupid 🙂
I can’t believe someone would say that to you. Some people are just mean. It is great that you don’t let negative comments bring you down and that you are doing what makes you happy. That is the best way to show them how wrong they are.
I’ve heard this before and it doesn’t ever get tiring. The Burried Life has some good stuff!
They definitely do! I love them! Have you seen their TV show?
they have a TV show? as in YouTube channel?
They had a TV show on MTV a few years back. They didn’t have MTV help them film or edit the show, or basically have a hand in it at all. The idea of the show was that these four guys, Duncan, Jonnie, Ben, and Dave made a list of 100 things they want to do before they die and in each episode they go after one of the things. Every time they cross something off their list, they help a stranger cross something of theirs. Here’s a link to the trailer! They really inspired me in so many different ways so I hope they do the same for you! They also have a YouTube channel. The show isn’t on TV anymore but you can watch it on Netflix. They are still doing the project, it’s just not on TV. Enjoy and let me know what you think!
